MOSCOW, ID - One man was killed friday morning in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 95, about ten miles north of Moscow near Potlatch.

Idaho State Police confirmed the driver was 28-year-old Beau Nicholai of Plummer, Idaho. The accident was called in by a passer-by who spotted the wrecked 2001 Chevy Tahoe. ISP arrived on the scene around 6:30 Friday morning to investigate.

"The vehicle was traveling south-bound on US-95, negotiating a curve," said State Trooper Andy Hodl. "He left the right shoulder of the roadway and went over the guard rail, down the embankment, rolled down the embankment."

According to ISP, the man was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. ISP suspects that alcohol was involved, and they are investigating that at this time.

His body was taken to Short's Funeral Home in Moscow.
