Leotis Branigh loses appeal
BOISE, ID - An Idaho man convicted of slaying a Lewiston man six years ago lost his appeal of his First-Degree Murder conviction Wednesday in Boise.

Leotis Branigh the third was convicted of shooting and killing Michael Johnston in 2007 and is serving a life-sentence for the murder.

The Idaho court of appeals issued a unanimous decision that the compelling evidence in the case outweighed any issues Branigh brought before the court including misconduct at trial.
