Kelly said he thinks the county government is going in the wrong direction, especially when it comes to the budget and team work. He said it's time to work together, build relationships and cut the tension in order to move forward as a successful governing body.
"I don't think there's anything more important than the people of Nez Perce County and working for them and doing a good job, said Kelly. That's why we're here."
Kelly said, if elected, his energy will go into generating a feasible budget for the next fiscal year by bringing in new industries that will generate living waged jobs and broaden the tax base.
