Chris Partee is accused of shooting Coby Bloodsworth.
LEWISTON, ID - A Peck man accused of murder in the second degree is headed to trial.

A July seventh jury trial is set for Chris Partee. He's accused of shooting Coby Bloodsworth back in February in Peck, Idaho. Partee is pleading not guilty to both charges he faces.

"Murder in the second degree carries the minimum of ten years in prison," said Nez Perce County Judge Gaskill. "There is a maximum penalty of life in prison or a $50,000 fine. The firearm enhancement increases any maximum penalties by a term of 15-years."

Because of Partee's ties to the community, bail was lowered form $500,000 to $250,000. If bond is posted, daily check-in's with the Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office are required.
