Nisbet charged with murder after being accused of shooting a man.
MOSCOW, ID - Police continue to investigate the scene of a shooting homicide that left one Moscow man dead and put another in jail Sunday afternoon.

According to Moscow Police Chief David Duke, 28-year-old Nathaniel Nisbet was arrested for first-degree murder after he shot 42-year-old Charles McMichael multiple times in the chest shortly before 1:00 on Sunday afternoon. Duke said the shooting happened at the Bel Air Trailer Park in North Moscow, and that McMichael was trying to help Nisbet's ex-girlfriend change the locks on her trailer.

"The victim forced his way in, there was a verbal altercation between the victim and the shooter, at which time shots were fired," said Duke.

Duke said Nisbet was waiting for police in front of the trailer when police arrived, and that he was arrested without incident. McMichael was taken to Gritman Medical Center, where he later passed away. Nisbet is currently at the Latah County Jail.
