MOSCOW, ID - Moscow Fire Department leaders are investigating an apartment fire that destroyed three units Thursday evening.

Moscow Fire Marshall Joe Williams said they blaze started on the first floor, and traveled up through the other two. Luckily, no one was injured. The bad news is that no one will be able to stay in any of the 12 apartment units in that building Thursday night.

"The building has been condemned," said Williams. "It's structurally unsound, at least on the east side so a lot of water and we're not going to be able to get in there until tomorrow (Friday)."

Williams said there was a dog home at the time, but he got out safely. About 20 volunteer firefighters helped put the fire out.
