MOSCOW, ID - The Pizza Hut in Moscow's Eastside Marketplace was robbed Tuesday morning by a former employee.
According to Moscow Police, one of the managers was opening the store at around ten Tuesday morning when he heard someone knocking on the door. When he opened the door, he was approached by a man in a ski mask and hoodie with a gun, who forced him inside and made him open the safe.
"He was an ex-employee of Pizza Hut, so he knew their system, and he know how it worked, and how many people would be there," said Moscow Police Chief David Duke.
Police said that while the manager of the store was opening the safe, two more employees showed up and the robber forced all three of them into the walk-in refrigerator.
By the time the robber was leaving the store, Moscow P.D. had already set up a perimeter. Police approached the suspect who ran into a nearby neighborhood. After a short on-foot pursuit, an officer confronted him and saw that the suspect had something in his hand. The officer then tased the suspect and took him into custody. It was determined that the object was a cell phone.
Police identified the robber as 24-year-old Richard Presley of rural Moscow, and that the weapon used was a pellet gun.

Yeah, that is horrible that people would rob a pizza hut. Speaking of pizza, do you know of a good pizza company in Calgary?Â
What is sad is that this man robbed Pizza Hut the day after they had their biggest sales day ever, which was a fundraiser for a friend of mine with 2 kids who has terminal cancer. This guy is the lowest of the low. It makes me sick.
