Megaload planned to travel on Highway-95 through Moscow in January
MOSCOW, ID - City of Moscow leaders are alerting residents that megaloads are scheduled to roll through town in mid-to-late January.

City officials said they recently received word from The Idaho Transportation Department that a transport company called Mammoet is expected to apply for permits to transport three oversized loads. They'll travel from Lewiston, north to Coeur d'Alene on Highway-95, which runs right through Moscow. The megaloads are headed to Great Falls, Montana.

The permits haven't been applied for yet, but the city plans to hold a public workshop in the near future with city and county officials and Idaho Transportation Dept. representatives to answer the public's questions. KLEW News will keep you updated on those plans as they become available.
