LEWISTON, ID - Officers responded to a 911 call Monday afternoon after a man jumped off the Southway Bridge.

Officers on scene said witness saw the man park his car at the middle of the bridge, wave to witnesses and jump off. The witness pointed out the location of the man in the river, and officers were able to pull him out. He was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical center where his condition is unknown. Upon investigation, officers found a note in the man's car along with pills that appear to be medication. His family has been notified.
