Sentencing delayed for man who failed to register as sex offender
LEWISTON, ID - The sentencing for a Culdesac man who failed to register as a sex offender has been delayed.

Defense attorney Danny Radakovich was granted a continuance on behalf of his client, 42-year-old Levi Lupe, Thursday in 2nd District Court. Radakovich argued that Lupe hadn't had the chance to review his pre-sentence report before the sentencing.

"I was being threatened, I was being harassed," said Lupe. "I had my phone number changed and my attorney wasn't able to contact me. I didn't know I was supposed to read it prior to the sentencing."

Judge Carl Kerrick granted the motion stating he wanted to make sure Lupe had an adequate amount of time to review the lengthy report.

Lupe will appear in court on May 24th for his sentencing.
