CLARKSTON, WA - A longtime journalist and recognizable television anchor was in Clarkston on Saturday for a book signing.

KREM2's Randy Shaw just released a book, titled "Spring Fever... for Any Season." The compilation of stories and poems contains humor, information about his life, career, and stories he's covered over decades of journalism. Shaw said that his book will inspire readers of all ages.

"They really get you to think about where you are and what you're doing," said Shaw. "And they tell you that this is entirely possible, that goals are possible. You can reach it, I think that's great for young people. And for the older generation, there are some terrific inspirational stories on veterans, which I'm very close to and I have their personal stories in the book."

Shaw is the longest running anchorman in Eastern Washington history. The book signing was at the Clarkston Bookstore, ..And Books Too from 1-3 p.m.
