LEWISTON, ID - A Lewiston hero just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

What started off as a another day of work, quickly turned into a rescue for logger Jackson Russell. Russell was plowing the roads when he saw a man waving his arms frantically on a snow drift.

"I said, get up here!" said Russell." And he jumped up on the CAT and he grabbed hold of me and would not let go of me. Just saying "thank you, thank you, oh my God, you are an Angel."

Russell rescued 25-year-old Jonathan Moore and 26-year-old Sarah Warden who were lost in the woods for six days in the Blue Mountains after a snow storm swept through the region. Russell says he jumped on top of his CAT truck to receive cell service and called 9-1-1. He said he gave the two his lunch and water as they descended the mountain to meet help.
