Lewiston man changes plea for alleged Waha Lake stabbing

WAHA, ID - A Lewiston man accused of allegedly stabbing another man at Waha Lake will appear in court on Wednesday.
Matthew Maisano, 20, allegedly stabbed 26-year-old Wayne Kirtley during an altercation in June and then left the area until he was later turned into the authorities following a citizen's tip. Maisano, and his girlfriend, 25-year-old Abigail Carter, were arrested in late June.
Maisano will appear in 2nd District Court on Wednesday for a change of plea. He's charged with one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Carter will appear in court on August 7th for an amendment to her previous charge as an accessory to aggravated battery.
