Kyle Rios faces felony charges after car accident on East Main.
LEWISTON, ID - Charges have now been filed against a Lewiston man involved in a deadly accident Sunday morning.

Kyle Rios, 24, of Lewiston is facing charges of vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of the crime, stemming from the car wreck that left 53-year-old Paul Stuk of Peck Idaho dead. According to Lewiston Police Captain Tom Greene, Stuk was headed onto East Main when he was hit by Rios.

"He was apprehended about a block away walking," said Greene. "I can say that he had been drinking because the officers checking him had enough probable cause to arrest him for driving under the influence that night."

Stuk was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy will be completed Monday. The investigation remains open at this time.
