Lincoln Middle School presents hand-made blankets to CPS.
CLARKSTON, WA - A group of local middle schoolers celebrated their last week of school a little bit differently than most, by giving to other kids in need.

Ms. Hill's Leadership Class of Lincoln Middle School spent time after school making blankets for Children Protective Services. They presented the hand-made blankets to a representative of CPS during class. Eighth grader Grace Frazier said while this was a class project, it means more to her than just doing community service.

"It means a lot to me just knowing that we're helping these kids in any way that we possibly can because it would be scary," said Frazier. "And I'm just really glad that we're helping them."

CPS in Clarkston serves mainly the Asotin and Garfield county areas, helping children who face circumstances of neglect or abuse.
