Sheriff said that the social media platform created digital anarchy.
MOSCOW, ID - We have an update to a story we told you about last week...The Latah County Sheriff's Office has deleted its Facebook page following a controversial post that family members have linked to the suicide of 19-year-old Andrew Cain.

Cain's family told KLEW news that he was excessively harassed after he was named "Wanted Person of the Month" on the Sheriff's Office Facebook page, which they believe led to his decision to take his own life.

Latah County Sheriff Wayne Rausch said the page was rendered useless because it was filled with profane remarks relating to Cain's suicide, and that the social media platform created "digital anarchy." Rausch has also asked Idaho State Police to do a full investigation of the incident.
