LPD recover stolen vehicle and arrest perpetrators

LEWISTON, ID - Police said that due to recent burglaries in the Orchards, they have been conducting extra night-time patrols, which paid off late Tuesday night.

This latest recovery of a blue Toyota Camry had been reported stolen on January 18th. Police said the Camry was parked at an un-occupied home.

"The engine on this car was warm so they discovered a door that was unlocked and opened, they got a group of officers, and went inside," said LPD Captain Rogers Lanier. "They found a male and a female inside the residence, neither had permission to be there."

Courtney Mcghan, 22, and Ricardo Suarez, 34, both face unlawful entry charges, plus possession of drug paraphernalia. Mcghan was also charged with grand theft. The Camry has been returned to its owner.
