LEWISTON, ID - Counterfeit money is an increasing problem, as cases continue to show up within the L-C Valley.

What are being called, "poor quality" counterfeit bills in denominations of tens and twenties are keeping the Lewiston Police Department busy. LPD has joined forces with the Orofino Police Department in the ongoing investigation into what they believe is a group of individuals committing the federal offense.
