LOID temporarily fixes drinking water pipeline that burst over weekend
LEWISTON, ID - The Lewiston Orchards Irrigation District is still figuring out a permanent solution for a pipeline that burst over the weekend.

A drinking water pipeline that lies below 19th Street and Grelle Avenue ruptured, causing water damage and heavy leakage Saturday evening. Right now there's a temporary fix keeping pipe together.

A statement from LOID said while they wait for a permanent solution, people might see discoloration or cloudiness in their water. That's not harmful and can be flushed by running your water for a few minutes.
