Community leaders discuss local issues at State of the Valley Luncheon
CLARKSTON, WA - The annual Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce, State of the Valley Luncheon brings a focus to the various happenings within the communities.

Both City of Lewiston and City of Clarkston Mayors gave citizens a look into the past as well as a glance into the future, encouraging people to get involved.

"We know what the state of the city is today," said City of Lewiston Mayor Kevin Poole. "My question and challenge to you as our city leaders and business leaders is to set the course for the state of the city for tomorrow."

"Everyone that works for the city is dedicated to providing that level of service and to finding economies that should lessen the drain on city reserves and we believe will make it possible for Clarkston to work it's way through these difficult financial times and come out the other side ready to meet the challenges the future may bring," said City of Clarkston Mayor Kathleen Warren.

Citizens were able to address their concerns to the city leaders throughout the luncheon which was put on by the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce.
