The State Department of Education notified the district on Monday that all ten district schools will receive Pay for Performance. The district earned an estimated $1,051,600 that will be distributed.
"Even though this might not be the selected choice for the people of Idaho, it was in place and I think it deserves to be paid out to our staff." said Lewiston School District Superintendent Doctor Joy Rapp.
Lewiston School District Superintendent Joy Rapp said each full time teacher will earn anywhere from $1,800 to $3,600 while principles and vice principals will receive anywhere from $2,700 to $5,400 bucks. Those bonuses will be awarded on December 3rd.
