Type-one firefighters arrive to battle Hurricane Creek blaze

Type-one firefighters arrive to battle Hurricane Creek blaze
JOSEPH, OR - Another fire that we've been following closely is one burning 4 miles southwest of Joseph, Oregon... the Hurricane Creek Fire.

An early morning flight Monday showed the fire to be much larger than previously believed. The fire has burned 645 acres and is 20% contained at this time. According to officials, the fire made a significant run late Sunday afternoon to the southeast.

The blaze is being fought by both land and air with a type-one crew arriving Monday to keep the fire from moving closer to private land.
