Lewiston Police investigation search for leads about incident.
LEWISTON, ID - Two horses are recovering from what their owner believes to be knife wounds.

Two young horses in the 3700 block of 21st Street have lacerations stemming from two separate incidents the past couple weekends. While the owner suspected foul play, the evidence is not actually pointing that way.

"The animal control officer has since spoken to the veterinarians office and their professional opinion is that the animals injuries are consistent with some type of debris or junk or some type of structure inside the pasture area," said LPD Captain, Roger Lanier.

The investigation is still open, however there aren't any leads at this time. If you do have information you're encouraged to call the Lewiston Police Department at 746-0171.
