LEWISTON, ID - Horse owner Julianne Christensen, daughter of Bret Christensen said surgery went well Tuesday.
She said their horse, Dyna will remain at the Lewiston Veterinary Clinic for another week until she is fully healed. Christensen believes Dyna will be able to walk again, even though they had to remove most of the muscle and tissue from the mare's leg.
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game sent out a group of hounds to track down the cougar, but have been unsuccessful so far. He said they're now relying on sightings of the wild animal from local residents before they go back out to search.
Anyone with information is urged to call (208) 700-5010.

This story is bogus. There was no cougar. That is why the dogs could not pick up any scent. The injuries are all caused by the horse becoming entangled in barb wire. The negligent owner is not accepting the blame and is try to get public sympathy. You have been duped.
