Highway 12 crash kills one man and injures two others
OROFINO, ID - A crash on Highway 12 just west of Orofino Thursday afternoon claimed the life of one man and injured two others.

According to Idaho State Police, at around one p.m., 64-year-old Gregory Munson of Orofino was traveling eastbound near milepost 38 when he crossed left of center in a 2003 Ford Explorer. His SUV collided head on with a 2002 Dodge Caravan driven by 63-year-old Douglas Terry of Enterprise, Oregon. Terry was killed in the crash. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Douglas Terry's passenger, Carol Terry, was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center with injuries, as was Munson. As of Thursday evening, both remained in serious condition. The road was blocked for five hours as police investigated and cleared the crash.
