Fundraiser to help pay medical bills for two-year-old battling brain cancer
MOSCOW, ID - Community members on the Palouse have organized a fundraiser to support a local two-year-old who is battling brain cancer.

Jackson Flipper lives in Pullman with his mom and sister, but he's currently in Seattle recovering from a surgery that removed a tumor from his brain last August. Jackson's mom, Natalie Flipper said that since the surgery, Jackson has suffered strokes and blindness in his right eye. But she believes he'll be able to work through it to live a happy life.

"His frontal lobe is still intact, and he still has those memories," said Natalie. "He still is the same child that he was, despite his disabilities now."

Friends and family members are hosting a dinner and auction on Sunday to raise money that'll help pay Jackson's medical bills. The event is at Schierman's Clubhouse in Moscow and it starts at 5:30 p.m.. Tickets are $25 and dinner will be catered by CD's Smoke Pit.
