Uniontown man pleads innocent to attempted first-degree murder
COLFAX, WA - A Washington State University graduate student, accused of attempting to murder his wife at their home in Uniontown, appeared in a Whitman County courtroom where he pleaded not guilty Friday morning.

Jacob Forster, 32, was arrested on April 30th after he allegedly attempted to poison his wife by placing a box over her head that had a hose attached to a nitrogen gas tank.

Forster was arraigned at the Whitman County Courthouse Friday morning, and his jury trial has been scheduled for June 17th. He's currently being held at the Whitman County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
