Firefighters will be at various intersections on Saturday.
LEWISTON, ID - Expect to see firefighters at several intersections throughout the L-C Valley Saturday.

Firefighters from Lewiston, Clarkston and Asotin are hitting the streets for the "Fill the Boot" campaign.

This is part of their 60-year partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to raise money to help out children and adults in the L-C Valley who are affected by this muscle disease.

"And in those 60-years the International Association of Firefighters has raised approximately $530-million so every little bit from every small community helps," said Clarkston Fire Dept. Captain Rolin Heytvelt.

The firefighters will be at various locations all across the L-C Valley Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funds raised through the 2014 Fill the Boot event will help support research, healthcare services, day-to-day support and even sending kids to the MDA summer camp at Camp Twinlow in Rathdrum, Idaho.
