CLARKSTON, WA - A Clarkston man is recovering from surgery after an early morning stabbing at a party.

Local law enforcement arrested 30-year-old Daniel Nanik. He's charged with two counts of 1st degree-assault,both felony charges.

According to Detective Sergeant, Richard Muszynski one victim was stabbed in the arm, another party-goer in the abdomen at approximately 6:00 Tuesday morning. Nanik ran from the house on the 600 block of 11th street, and was caught shortly after.

"The way I understand it there was an argument in reference to a relationship," said Muszynski. "Two males at the residence got into a fight and that's what started the altercation."

Both victims were taken to Tri-State Hospital. One victim has since been released, while the other is recovering in the intensive care unit.
