Rose will represent WA. in the National Distinguished Woman’s Program.
PULLMAN, WA - The cities of Pullman and Clarkston have a lot to be proud of Monday night.

Rose Jao, 16, Pullman resident was crowned the new Distinguished Young Woman of Washington last weekend and Clarkston's 17-year-old Lindsey Heflin took second runner up.

First runner up was Allison Hyer from Moses Lake.

With her new title, Jao earned $5,000 in scholarships and will represent Washington next summer for the National Distinguished Woman's Program in Alabama.
