Demolition bid approved for new library building

The new library building must go through an interior demolition.

LEWISTON, ID - The new Lewiston Library building in downtown Lewiston must go through an interior demolition before a $4 million renovation project can begin. Monday night Lewiston City councilors approved a bid for the demo to Idaho Stage out of Kooskia. The cost is around $83 thousand. They expect to begin work this spring at the 40,000 square foot Fifth and D Street building.
