Costco will be taking donations until the end of May.
CLARKSTON, WA - Costco is raising money for the Children's Miracle Network through their annual fundraiser.

All proceeds will go to the Sacred Heart Children's Hospital in Spokane. Last year the store raised $8,700 and this year they exceeded their own expectations of $20,000.

Friday was Super Hero and Princess Day at Costco. Cashiers and checkers dressed up as their favorite character and urged customers for their support. And cashiers weren't the only workers showing their spirit Friday, Steve Trimmell, the staff manager at Costco, was showing his support in a different way.

"The original goal for our store was $15,000 but I thought we could do better than that, so I told everyone that if we could raise $20,000 by the end of the month, they could pick a color and paint my fingernails....and, they did!" said Trimmell.

Late Friday afternoon Costco reached their goal, but they're still taking donations until the end of the month.
