Coroner determines U of I student died from hypothermia
MOSCOW, ID - The Latah County Coroner has determined that the University of Idaho student who was found dead north of Moscow on Monday died from hypothermia.

Joseph Wiederrick, 18, was reported missing on Sunday and search and rescue crews found his body under a bridge near the intersection of North Mountain View Drive and West Twin Road about 24 hours later.

According to Moscow Police, he was drinking at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity on campus before he went missing. Latah County Coroner Cathy Mabbutt said that Wiederrick’s toxicology report will be available in two to three weeks.
