Cathy said creating more jobs is one of the best things we can do.
CLARKSTON, WA - Congresswoman Cathy McMorris-Rodgers is making stops in Eastern Washington to meet with her constituents, which included a stop in Clarkston.

About 30-people showed up to visit with the lawmaker and ask questions. Several people asked about the progress of the Affordable Care Act and better care for our veterans.

Representative McMorris-Rodgers said there’s a number of things she's working on, but there’s one topic that she said is one of her top priorities.

"I think that in order to get our economy grown again, whether it's here, in Eastern Washington or across the country," said McMorris-Rodgers. "Creating more jobs is one of the best things we can do. It gives more opportunities for people and gives them hope. That's going to continue to be my priority."

Representative McMorris-Rodgers said she encourages everyone to send her an email, or give her office a call. She said hearing from you makes her a better legislature.
