Clarkston City Council incumbent John Smith would keep taxes low

Clarkston City Council incumbent John Smith would keep taxes low
CLARKSTON, WA - Now we introduce you to Kolstad's opponent John Smith, who's been on the council for the past 12 years.

Smith preferred not to speak on camera Thursday evening, but here's what he said about his time on the council.

He said he's voted to keep taxes as low as possible, saying the council went seven years without raising property taxes. He supported the implementation of the ambulance service in the city limits. If re-elected his focus would be on keeping the budget at bay with minimal tax increases. Bringing business and growth to the city is also important to him.
