Wood hopes to improve relationships as Asotin Co. Commissioner
CLARKSTON, WA - Asotin County Commissioner District 1 Republican candidate Mark Wood said he'll bring management skills to the county if elected this November.

Wood said he'd like to focus his attention on generating more revenue for the aquatic center, supporting a Home Rule Charter and figuring out ways to make expenditures more cost effective. He said acting as a steward of the public trust is very important to him.

"I really want to change the whole attitude of government in the county," said Wood. "We need to do some attitude adjustments, we need to get this county working together to make it a wonderful place to live. We need to get the cities and the counties working together."

Mark is the President and General Manager of Lewiston Equipment Company. He's also a project coordinator for Habitat for Humanity and has been a resident of Asotin County for 40 years.
