CLARKSTON, WA - The Clarkston Classified Association held a candle light vigil Tuesday evening in representation of their missing contract with the Clarkston School District.

Members of the CCA and supporting community groups like the Washington Education Association stood along the street in front of the School District Building, prior to a school board meeting. CCA Member Communications Coordinator Angie Gustafson said they made progress with a mediator at their last negotiation session, but warns it's time for CCA members to get their new contract.

"There is a pretty good turnout," said Gustafson. "There's a lot of support from the community. We need a contract. We need to get back to what's important which is the kids."

The Clarkston School District, the CCA and a mediator are set to meet again on November 30th.
