Lewiston Police search for third burglary suspect

LEWISTON, ID - A series of burglaries in Lewiston results in the arrests of two men and has police searching for another.

Twenty-one-year-old Justin Thompson of Lewiston and 22-year-old Casey Hallman of Spokane were arrested Wednesday after they burglarized an apartment complex at 1226 Burrell Avenue.

Another burglary occurred Monday morning, when a man walked into his home and found an intruder who entered through an unlocked back door.

"I'm probably as guilty as anybody," said Lewiston Police Captain Tom Greene. "You think you can leave the house for a few minutes, you really should lock it. This is becoming more prevalent."

Although the suspect was able to escape from the home, police are still looking for a man described to be in his late teens to early 30's who is about six-feet tall, wearing a brown coat, baseball cap and jeans.
