Bunney was accused of taking more than $56,000 while serving as the support services administrator between 2007 and 2011. Special Prosecutor Louis Marshall of Bonner County said that he was satisfied with all aspects of the case.
"It was a great investigation done by Rich Adamson of Idaho State Police," said Marshall. "Everyone was cooperative, and of course, we're always glad when the defendant accepts responsibility for what they've done."
The Latah county courts want to make it clear that Bunney pleaded guilty to misuse of public funds, but the original charges against her were changed. The judge told Bunney that the charge is subject to a minimum of one year, and a maximum of 14 years in prison, but according to Marshall it's likely that she will serve local jail time.
Her sentencing is schedule for April 22nd at 10:00 a.m. in the Latah County Courthouse.
