LEWISTON, ID - Usually right after the primaries, campaigning for the General Election picks up, but the position for district two's judge is all over.

Current District Two Judge Jeff Brudie will serve for another four years. Brudie claimed 64% of the vote over Retired Judge John Bradbury.

"I do want to thank the voters for continuing to trust me to do this job," said Judge Brudie. "The second district is functioning very well right now and so I envision that we're going to do more of same."

Judge Jeff Brudie was honored last month for his role in drug court. Nez Perce County's Drug Court is now considered a mentor court throughout the nation. Brudie's new term will start in January.
