Judge Brudie graduated from law school from the University of Idaho, has ten-years of private practice experience and is serving his 13th year as the District Judge in Nez Perce County. Brudie said that in addition to experience, his love for the position, and his record on the bench are a few reasons why he should get the votes.
"Everybody knows that when a judge makes a decision somebody wins and somebody looses, but they want to be heard and they want to be treated courteously," said Second District Court Judge Brudie. "And I think over 13-years I have that reputation. This is a great job, a great public service job and I really enjoy doing it."
Brudie said what distinguishes him between challenger Bradbury is that this is the only elected position he's ever held and ever wants to hold. Judge Jeff Brudie was honored last month for his role in drug court. Nez Perce County's Drug Court is now considered a mentor court throughout the nation
