Balancing budget is top priority for incumbent Commissioner Brian Shinn
CLARKSTON, WA - Asotin County Commissioner District 1 incumbent Brian Shinn said he'd like the opportunity to finish the work he's started with the county.

Shinn is currently in his eleventh month as District 1 Commissioner and said his experience and community involvement makes him the right choice. Shinn said the commissioners are working on the budget with other county officials and hopes to see his work through to the end.

"The key biggest challenge we have right now is our budget," said Shinn. "It's not looking good at all so we have some tough decisions to make just in the next two and a-half months about how to make that budget balance."

Shinn said he's involved in ten different committees in addition to his work with the county and is co-owner and operator of Shinn-Reimers TV & Appliance in Lewiston. We'll hear from Shinn's challenger Thursday.
