COLFAX, WA - The Pullman man accused of starting the Grove Apartment fire in July has pleaded guilty.

He's charged with "Malicious Use of Fire to Damage Property used in Interstate Commerce."

Brian Kitchen, 31, appeared at the U.S. District Court in Spokane on Monday and entered a plea agreement with the prosecutor. Kitchen now has a sentencing hearing scheduled for April 15th.

Court documents show Kitchen admitted to intentionally starting the fire that caused more than $13 million in damage to four apartment buildings.
