According to INBC Communications Officer Elizabeth Giles, the center has already seen the impact the recent snow fall has had on blood donations. As the only supplier of blood to area hospitals, holidays are an especially difficult time for the center due to the higher need for blood and decrease in regular donations.
"You still have time to come in and donate and help somebody who's in the hospital sick and needing help." said Inland Northwest Blood Center Recruitment Coordinator Alicia Neely.
As we told you earlier, INBC is the only supplier of blood and blood products for area hospitals making donations especially important to ensure there's a safe blood supply for the holidays. Each blood donation has the potential to save three lives.
