LEWISTON, ID - The First Territorial Capitol of Idaho Revitalization Project committee wants your help as volunteers begin working on the final phases of construction.

According to First Territorial Capitol of Idaho Revitalization Project Vice President John Mock, reconstruction of the building is in the later stages. However money is a factor in the completion of the project. Committee members are asking for donations as the Idaho Capitol Project currently sits $11,000 shy of the $50,000 needed to finish the replica.

"This is an investment in everyone's future, our future's, our children's futures, and our grandchildren's futures," said Mock. "This is a lasting historical legacy for all of us in the Valley."

Mock said financial assistance will be the key to finishing the project by the end of this year. Donations will go toward doors, windows, a security system, a heating and air conditioning unit, electrical, ADA accessibility, display cases and construction permit and code needs.

If you would like to make a donation you can make your personal or business check or money order to Idaho’s First Capitol Project, P.O. Box 2167, Lewiston, Idaho 83501.
