City of Lewiston clears streets after wind storm
LEWISTON, ID - Roughly 100 people were without power Tuesday night after strong winds tore through the region.

According to Avista Spokesperson Brandi Smith 75% of power lost is restored. Powerful winds of up to 40-miles-per-hour in the L.C. Valley, uprooted trees and broke a number of branches.

City of Lewiston Street Maintenance Manager Keith Bingman said although there was no extensive damage, he anticipates street crews will continue clearing the roadways of broken branches and fallen trees into Thursday.
