Hundreds of people join up for two-mile fundraiser walk.
LEWISTON, ID - April is Autism Awareness month and the students and staff at McSorley Elementary raised money for the remarkable cause this past weekend.

Almost 400 people showed up at Kiwanis Park to participate in the two-mile fundraiser walk. All proceeds were donated to the National Autism Awareness and Research Organization "Autism Speaks."

Autism is the fastest-growing developmental disability in the United States. Currently there is no medical detection or cure for autism. McSorley Elementary raised more than $6,000.
