Summer concession stand will generate revenue.
CLARKSTON, WA - The Asotin County Family Aquatic Center is opening up their concessions stand this summer in hopes of generating revenue.

What's the old saying? You've got to spend money to make money...and that's definitely the case as the aquatic center is asking the Asotin county commission to increase their budget by almost $39,000. If the budget amendment is approved by the commission next week, it'll cover the cost of non-perishable food, employees and job supervisors.

To staff the concessions stand, they'll work in partnership with the Asotin County Community Action Program to train adults with developmental disabilities so they can join the workforce.
