Alleged rape by acquaintance on U of I campus goes to jury

MOSCOW, ID - The trial for the man accused of raping a woman on the University of Idaho campus in October concluded Thursday afternoon with closing statements from the council.
Jesse Vierstra, 21, is accused of sexually assaulting an acquaintance behind the Sigma Chi fraternity house. The state says that the victim was a virgin who didn’t show any interest in the defendant, and that she asked him to stop. The state also says the victim only had one drink that night.
In Vierstra’s testimony, he claimed that the two of them started kissing, and he took her to a dark area behind the fraternity so they could have more privacy. His attorney said the “physical passion” led to consensual sex.
The jury began deliberating around 3:00 Thursday afternoon, and will continue Friday morning.

The text messages alone prove that there was interest in the young man. Inviting him to the frat house and if he didn't show up she would cry. That alone shows she lied. Along with not remembering anything - not even that they were making out and he had performed oral sex - according to the evidence and THEN she remembered that they did. Even forget she had told the nurse and the police the same. And refused to have her blood drawn as she is afraid of needles??? Or afraid what the BAC would show up as? Amazing how people can lie and a jury believes them and now a young innocent man sits behind bars.
