MOSCOW, ID - Former University of Idaho Football Coach Robb Akey has filed a lawsuit against his former employer.

The University of Idaho, the school's Board of Regents and the Idaho State Board of Education have all been named as defendants in the case, which was filed in Latah County.

According to court records, the case was filed on April 16 and the original judge disqualified himself. A new one has since been assigned to the case. The former head coach was dismissed by the Moscow-based University in October of 2012.
